Our Executive Chef Ahmed Balogun goes wild with some of his favourite dishes, showcasing the rich culinary traditions of Africa in a Buffet style.

  • The loved “Boere Boontjies,” a traditional South African dish.
  • Jollof rice from Nigeria – a rich and aromatic classic dish that has become a favorite among food enthusiasts.
  • Dombolo – a steamed bread with East African origins that is sure to leave you craving for more.
  • Chakalaka –a dish made in true Johannesburg township style that captures the essence of South African cuisine.
  • Smoortjie – a Cape Malay inspired dish
  • Pap “balletjies” – a comfort food loved by people from South Africa, Botswana, and Nigeria.
  • Shisanyama – delicious beef meat served on skewers that will leave you wanting more.
  • Other favourites include: Tomato and basil soup, Spinach and lentil carrot potjie, Boerewors curry, spicy chicken livers and traditional Bobotie.

To end the night on a sweet note, indulge in a sweet pudding from South-Africa: Malva Pudding with custard. And to perfectly complement the feast, a selection of wines from the renowned Hotel du Vin cellars will be served.

These wild combinations of fragrant stews, sizzling grills and exotic vegetables promises an explosion of African flavours.
